Message : . Has any one used a tire pump to pressurize intake? Some one is selling boost leak tool in the classified that that can have a tire pump hooked up to it. I doubt it would work. The intake takes a lot of air . The air would looke down faster than what can be pumped.

i dont think anyway....

i just pressurized my car with 18-20psi of compressor driven air yesterday.
when i shut off the air, it took maybe 30 seconds for the leaks to stop 'hissing'. if you have insane leaks, then it may not be very usefull.

you can buy a 5 gallon air tank for $20-30.oo from pepboys/sears that can be filled up at the gas station for $.50 cents or free. then all you need is a refulator...ah..nevermind, this is getting more expensive then a bycicle pump, lol.

then again, if you buy a foot style pump, maybe it'd do more air(?)
